LANGTANG GOSHAINKUNDA TREK


Langtang Goshainkunga trek is the closest destination to the capital city, Kathmandu of Nepal,  renowned as one of the best moderately adventurous trekking routes incredibly leaves you the pristine high altitude trekking experience with the perfect mountain views,  lets you see  amazing alpine valleys, glacier lakes,  endangered species, alpine forest and more . This trek takes you to observe a magical blend of heavenly natural beauty of Lamtang (3430M), Goshainkunda (4380M), Laurebinayak pass (4610m) with its rushing rivers and lush forests, unique Nepali culture and Himalayan life style on the way to the trek.

Your trek starts from Kathmandu (1340M), a capital city of Nepal, and drive to Syabru Bensi (1465M) 32 mile north of Kathmandu, Rasuwa District, Bagmati Zone, and stay overnight. You will observe here a lovely small Sherpa village located on the banks of Bhote Khola, at the very edge of Lamtang National Park and amid of high rise hills that gives you completely a distinct experience from where your real trek begins.

Very first Trekking starts from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel for 5 to 6 hours, and you will be at the height of 2380M with wonderful strenuous trek along the scenic rocky trails in the sub-tropical region hills and spend a night in Lama Hotel. The following day you will head towards the main trekking destination, a magical lands of Langtang (3500M), passing through many gorges, valleys, Spanish oak tree and panoramic rhododendron forest, crossing rushing rivers, glacial moraine etc. you will visit Langtang National Park, the second largest National Park of Nepal, The park is full of a wide variety of climatic zones, trees like Oak, Pine, Maple, Rhododendron and animals like Himalayan black bear, Himalayan tahr (goat), Red Pandas and Rhesus monkeys.

The following day you will continue from Langtang to magnificent ever widening valley to Kyanjing Gompa, crossing a steep undulating trail and passing through series of long mani walls. You will have spectacular views of the high rise peaks such as Dorji Lakpa, Urkinmang, Naya Kanga and Pongen Dopku. you will spend a night at Kyanjing Gompa have a rest day and local exploration up to Tserko RI (4984M).

Back to lama hotel and heading towards Thulo Syabru after 5, 6hours, and next day trek  to Singh Gompa (3584). After Singh Gompa, you will have a great trek towards the main destination and the highest altitude Gosainkunda (4380 M), sitting on the lap of Himalayas as if the snowcapped mountains are standing around the Gosainkunda. Here you will see the mesmerizing view of alpine valley, glacier lakes, diverse alpine plants and species.The following day, you will trek to Shing Gompa 3584M, then descend to Dhunche (1950M); lower elevation  and drive to Kathmandu.
