Short Everest Trek begins flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the world’s highest airport. Best time and season for this trekking 

  • Normally all seasons suitable for this trekking however the best seasons: spring seasons (March to May) and Autumn seasons (September to November)
  • Spring season (March to May) – makes trails beautiful and vibrant with blooming flowers and green forest 
  • Autumn Seasons 9September to November) offers better mountain views, less perspiration and humidity.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Nepal 

Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our pleasant representative will meet & greet and transferred to hotel.  Check in to hotel, relax and stay overnight at Kathmandu.  

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla Flight and trek to Phakding 

Breakfast, briefing about flight and trekking for the day by professional guide, transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport and you will fly to Lukla 2800m altitude (the highest airport in Nepal) and Phakding 2652m. Your flight time will fly over the soaring hills, mountains around 35m to Lukla and start trekking to Phakding  8 kgm (3hrs), a beautiful Himalayan settlement located at the edge of Dudh Koshi River Vallely of Khumbu. You will see an eye-catching view of Kusum Kanguru Peak, elegant other mountains, wonderful landscapes on the way to Phakding. You will stay at guesthouse at Phakding enjoying local dinner. 

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazar –(6-7hours)

Breakfast, start your adventure for 7 hours from Phakding to Monjo (distance 11-13km) 3440m altitude, a gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park. Along the way, you will pass thick woodlands of pine and rhododendrons lets you dive into the amazing beauty of the untapped high altitude Himalaya’s region. You will also pass small Sherpa settlements as Jorsale, Tok Tok, cross Dugh Koshi River via suspension bridge and hike uphill towards the popular Himalayan town and next destination Namche Bazaar, a gateway to Mt Everest basecamp and historic trading post between Nepalese and Tibetan traders. You will stay at guesthouse at Namche Bazar, enjoy dinner and stay overnight. 

Day 04: Namche Bazaar – Day hike (Everest View Hotel and Khumjung)

Today is reserved day for acclimatization to adjust with high altitude in the region. Namche Bazaar is wonderful Himalayan town of Khumbu, from Namche, you will have amazing views of world’s highest peak Mt Everest and neighboring beautiful Himalayan peaks such as Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Kongdi Ri. You will visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and the Everest Photo Gallery. Further more, you can hike upto the Syanboche Airstrip located above the Namche Bazaar. From Syamboche, one can have spectacular view of Namche Bazaar along with the other Himalayan peaks and lustrous surrounding area. Then you will trek to the most popular “the Everest View Hotel” from where you will have close magnificent view of Mt Everest and enjoy Himalayan beauties in a close distance. You will stay at guesthouse in “the Everest View Hotel”, have delicious dinner and stay overnight. 

Day 05: Namche to Lukla – 7-8 hours 

Now the time has come to say bye bye to Mt Everest and Namche Bazaar, with the farewell, you will head back to Lukla from Namche. As you pass Chortens, Mani Walls and Gompas, crossing Dudh Koshi River via Suspension bridges offer you unforgettable memories in your lifetime.  Passing  Cheplung, You will arrive Lukla, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Lukla. 

Day 06: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight 

Time to say good-bye Lukla, you will have short flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Once again you will see amazing view of Himalaya peaks, forest and landscapes before you land at Kathmandu. After 35 minutes, you will land at Kathmandu, will be transferred to hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 07: Farewell and Departure 

Today is to say goodbye to Kathmandu, all local known and unknown friends and Nepal, you will be transferred in to Tribhuwan International Airport on time as per your flight schedule. Finally you will farewell Nepal, and fly back to your home with outmost unforgettable memories.
